This is a superior quality piece, the bed originates from India often know as a Raj bed, the bed is hand made, it is a 4 poster with carved turnings and is unusually, a light colour polished wood
The head of the bed has a pleasant arched shape set off with turned spindles carved with leaves at the base, matching the ones on the foot board
The bed has very chunky turned legs leading up to slender shapely corner posts supporting the canopy.
The Raj bed is specially made in order that such a heavy piece can be easily dismantled, so this one will have ease of access to the most awkward to get to locations, the bed has its own wooden base and needs only a mattress to complete it
The bed is in good sound condition,
The Bed is 89” tall, 73” wide, and 89” long it will take a 6ft x 6ft6” mattress

This is a very pretty Mahogany 4 poster double bed, the bed posts are made in 4” diameter mahogany they are tall and attractively turned. The head board is solid mahogany, it could either be covered with drapes or upholstered, the foot board is decorated with attractive mouldings
There are rods to hang the drapes on, and some (not a complete set) come with the bed
The Bed is sound and sturdy, it dismantles for transportation will need reassembling on arrival, it is comes with its original wooden slats and only requires a mattress and new drapes to complete it

This is a superb quality piece made in solid brass, with fine detail to the casting and magnificent design and craftsman ship
The head of the bed has a exquisite arched brass headboard with a high upholstered panel in the centre
The foot end of the bed has elaborated brass castings with intertwined rings and stylised leaves and flowers
The bed head is upholstered in a sculptured chenille a good neutral colour that will fit in anywhere, this is in good condition as is the brass with only very minor dings. It is a timeless in design it will go very well in a Victorian styled bed room, it also has that stand alone quality to go with any design

French Corbielle Bed, typically rococo in style, the bed is carved and still in its original mushroom and cream paint with sculptured velvet upholstery, mainly in blues
The bed is in excellent condition, there is a little genuine fading to the upholstery but it is would be a simple piece to have recovered, it dismantles for transport (head board, foot board, two sides)
The head of the bed is 48” high and 59” wide, the drop in size of the bed for the mattress is 54” x 76” the bed will require a mattress the same size, we are able to supply a slatted base if required
