Carved Gothic Oak Writing Table or Centre table
An Exquisitely Carved Gothic Centre Table or Writing Table, this is an early 19th Century piece
It stands on superbly shaped and carved legs, the table has a very finely carved apron, the carving is carried all the way around and disguises the presence of 2 drawers on one of the long sides

There are carvings of Lion�s Masks at every corner and in the centre of the long sides
The top of the table has a carved edge and a tooled leather inset leather, this is a replacement
The Table has a very good patina, and it is in excellent condition
The table is 48� long, 27� deep and 29.5� high, it is 22.5� under knee height
