A Pair of Large Bronze Thai Temple Guardian Foo Lion Dogs
These are a very impressive pair of Singha, Guardians of the Buddhist temple in Thailand, the dogs are made in Bronze and are very heavy.
The Dogs stand on a bronze plinth, the detail of this pair is very impressive, they are dressed in decorated armour with wings claws and very fierce roaring faces.
The Dogs or Lions date from the late 19th Century and are 4ft tall and in good condition with an aged patina
The Dogs are 48” tall, 40” long and 17” wide
