A Small Early 17th Century Carved Oak Coffer, 1621
This is a lovely old piece is about 4oo years old, with a superb patina, the chest has three fielded panels on the front and top
The Front has a decorative carved freize along the top and an iron lock plate
Th centre panel on the top is an arched shape and has a Latin monogram and is dated 1621
The chest stands on quite long legs, has a good sound construction, the lock is working and we have the key

This is a very pleasing piece with good patina and in very good condition considering its age
The coffer is 36” long,18” deep and 24” high
