A Pair of Solid Silver Art Nouveau Sweet Dishes by Mappin Brothers, 1897
These are superb quality antique Victorian sterling silver dishes, they are in the Art Nouveau style with acanthus leaves swirling outward from the centre creating a pretty pierced border
The dishes are a lovely and unusual shape with superb decoration, they are hallmarked, Birmingham 1897 with the silversmiths mark for Mappin Bros
Both dishes are identical, they are 7” long, 4.5” wide and 1” high
