Description
French Carved 5Ft Double Sleigh BedThe Head board of this bed has the most beautifully scrolled shape, the show wood is carved in the Rococo style with flowers and leaves, the sides too have this decoration as has the foot board.
The bed dates from around 1880 the age darkened cream paint is original as is the fabric it is a pretty mix of Pink flowers and Green leaves in a sculptured velvet
The bed is supplied with a new pine base and it takes a 60” x 77” mattress (English size)
The head board is 45” high and 63” wide, and the bed is 91” long overall
