French Long Case or Pine Grandfather ClockThis is a really rustic or country piece, the case of the clock is made in pine with a typical bulbous body so familiar in French Clocks, there is a small window to see the brass pendulum swinging to and fro.
The clock has a very pretty enamelled painted face, brass hands set in an embossed brass surround, the clock is an old piece but the movement is very clean and runs well so it has probably been recently serviced.
The clock keeps good time and strikes the hour and the case is good and sound and has been treated to kill the French woodworm
The clock is 79” high, 17” wide and 9” deep
