Vintage Butchers Block on Original Pine Table, Kitchen IslandThis is a good size for the domestic kitchen and obviously a heavy piece, the Sycamore top is made with end on grain has seen a few years of fairly hard work, but still has a great deal of useful life left in it and a wonderful patination, it has the most fantastic waved shape with metal bound corners and iron rods through the centre.
The stand is original made in pine and it has been attacked by wood worm, this has been treated and is now dead it has with a double sided drawer so that both sides look identical and it would make a superb rustic farmhouse kitchen island
The block its self is 6” deep and is 31” high on its base, the block is 42” long and 24” deep
