A Large 19th Century Carved and Parquetry Oak Draw Leaf tableThis table comes from the south of France or maybe Spain it certainly has a Spanish revival look
The carved table base is all made in solid Oak, the table stands on large carved legs with large hairy paw feet and it has a decorative wrought iron stretcher
The table top is in solid Oak parquetry with a Herring Bone inlay, this design is very popular in France and Spain
The table has two large leaves that draw out from each end on sturdy wooden supports making the table almost 9ft long
The table is in very good condition, it has fabulous patination especially the top, there are no breaks, splits, loose joints, wobbles.
This is the sturdiest extending table you will find and this a particularly pretty example and it can double in size for special feasts, the set of 8 matching chairs are available on our web site
The table is 30” high Closed the table is 62” x 40”
Extended it is 106” x 40”, the table will dismantle for ease of access
