A Victorian Blonde Mahogany Chest on ChestThis superb piece of furniture dates from around 1870, it is was a greatly favoured piece because of the great amount of storage it gives
The chest stands on bracket shaped feet, the base section has two long drawers and the upper section is the normal two short over three longer graduated drawers. The top of the piece is set off with an attractive cornice
The Sun Lightened chest has a wonderful patina and a golden colour to the well polished wood
The Chest is not a tall piece and very well suited to a small house or cottage, it is in very good condition with acceptable signs of a past life
The chest stands 64” high it is 44” wide and 22” deep
