Carved Victorian Oak Bonheur de Jour or Writing TableA Superbly Carved Victorian Oak Bonheur de Jour or desk, the desk is made in Oak which has been superbly and intricately carved
The desk has a raised carved gallery at the back and a bank of 4 drawers with a pigeon hole in the centre
There are four more carved drawers beneath the tooled leather top, one long and 2 smaller ones at each side and it stands on turned oak legs, this piece would be superbly suited as a hall table
The desk in very good condition for its age and the leather is original and does have a few ink stains but no tears
The desk is 42” long, 22” deep and 40” high, the desk height is 29” and the under knee height is 24”
